Activated charcoal from cheaper waste biomass
Carbonscape’s technology produces high quality, 800 square meters per gram, activated charcoal from cheap inputs such as waste pine sawdust in a process that promises to replace the traditionally slower and more complex processes with a fast, single method. Read more →
Providing benefits to the soil
Biochar acts as a soil enhancer by aiding the retention of nutrients and water. Water quality is potentially improved as a result of biochar enhancing soil absorption of agrochemicals which prevent leaching and hence pollution of waterways. Read more →
Carbon reduction through sequestered charcoal
When producing charcoal, Carbonscape’s technology facilitates the storage of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere in a carbon negative fashion when used for agricultural purposes. This sequestered charcoal also mitigates the major problems associated with traditional carbon capture and storage (CCS) techniques. Read more →

Carbonscape’s bio-oils and fine chemicals are targeted towards end uses such as heating, high grade pharmaceutical products and cosmetics. Targeted uses for Carbonscape’s syngas are as an alternative fuel as well as a component for the chemical process industry. Read more →
